Flood Automotive is a family owned and run Automotive workshop based in Moorebank NSW. Graham and Dan Flood have over 30 years’ experience in helping the community with all of their automotive needs. We are experiencing a period of rapid growth and have recently expanded our business so we are looking for multiple additions to our team. We pride ourselves in high quality workmanship and customer service and are seeking motivated individuals to add value to our business.
The role:
- SERVICE ADVISOR/HEAD MECHANIC
We're looking for an energetic customer focused individual to join our busy Automotive workshop based in Moorebank. Automotive experience is necessary with trade license - what we are looking for is someone who wants to put their customer service experience into a full time role with great career potential but still wants to use there mechanical knowledge on the tools.
This is a full time role; Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5.30pm.
What will a day look like?
• Open from 7:30am you will meet and greet customers as in a casual setting.
• You will confirm booking details, providing general advice and support in identifying what repairs/maintenance needs to be done.
• Liaise between workshop and customer for any repairs, sales or warranty operations required.
• Cost/invoice paperwork for each customer.
• Overall; establish and develop effective customer relationships and build rapport.
• Fill in mechanical repairs, servicing & maintenance if and where required.
• Ability to offer Diagnostic assistance would be beneficial
• Opportunity for a 9 day fortnight work schedule
About you:
• Previous experience as a service advisor within the automotive industry (Not necessary but highly regarded)
• You will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to our customers
• You will thrive in a busy, high volume environment and be able to manage multiple tasks at a time.
• You will have sound computer experience with the ability to learn new systems
• You will have a can do approach where no task is too hard
• You have the ability to build rapport with our valued customers
• You will have a good understanding of the automotive industry and be mechanically minded
• A passion for consumer sales with proven results
• Current NSW Driver’s License
• Have the ability to pick up and drop off cars if required from different locations.
• Perform tasks outside of your job description on occasion.
• Ability to work unsupervised in a fast paced environment
• Time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to deal with conflict
• Strong desire to be part of a team oriented environment
