Starting from Today the 13th of October, the Living Circuit Series is officially live! This championship will consist of 14 rounds spread across a total of 7 weeks.
As you already know, we bring out a brand new track every Monday, we run it in reverse on tuesdays and wednesdays, and give you one final chance to race the current track on Thursdays. Each track is an opportunity to set a lap, get in the top 10 of the week and score points.
Drivers score points by placing in the weekly top 10’s for each track. Points are awarded in the following way:
1st = 25
2nd = 18
3rd = 15
4th = 12
5th = 10
6th = 8
7th = 6
8th = 4
9th = 2
10th =1
Now remember, consistency is key to win. If you place first in the weekly timings of one track but miss out and don’t race the reverse track you would get 25 points that week, whereas someone who might’ve not performed as well in one track, but say they finished 3rd fastest in the same track, but raced the reverse track and finished 4th, they would be awarded 15 points for 3rd plus another 12 points for 4th place in the reverse track... two more than you.
Our prize pool of $1000 will be shared between the top ten drivers come the end of the championship, here is how the prizes will be given: 10th and 9th will both get $30 dollars of store credit, 8th gets $45, 7th #55, 6th gets $70 of store credit, 5th $90, 4th is the first to break a hundred by getting $110 of store credit, 3rd will be awarded $140, second $180, and the ultimate champion of the Living Circuit Series will bring home $250 of Hyper karting Store credit alongside a beautiful custom trophy that they can show off to everyone.
