🚗💨 What’s a Cabin Air Filter – and Why Should You Care? 💨🚗

At Natrad Moorabbin, we often get asked about cabin air filters – and they’re more important than most people realize!

👉 What is it?
A cabin air filter cleans the air that comes into your car’s interior through the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system (HVAC). It traps dust, pollen, mould spores, and other airborne nasties – keeping the air you breathe inside your car fresh and clean.

🛠️ How we replace it:
Our experienced team carefully removes the old, clogged filter (usually located behind the glovebox or under the dashboard), checks for any debris or mould buildup, and fits a brand-new quality filter to restore clean airflow. The Natrad Auto Cooling Service Centre group was created 40 years ago in 1984 by radiator manufacturer Natra to provide superior radiator repair services across the country. These workshops grew to become Australia’s largest national radiator & auto air specialist group.
This year, we’re celebrating our 40 Year Anniversary with a special day of activities on October 11.
At Natrad Moorabbin, our activities will include:

A 1956 Chevrolet Belair came in with the cooling system setup incorrectly causing it to overheat. We have pulled it apart and set it up correctly and it is running like new.
