AKC Round 5

On home turf for the Karting Australia rd 5 at Southern Go Kart Club and Brodie and Hayden will running against big fields. Thanks to Lawrence & Hanson, , JGR, and AMP Tuning and Advanced Motorsport for the HP. Races and finals televised on 7plus from 11:30am on Saturday and Sunday.

Hayden and Ashton competed in the Monarto River Titles yesterday .

Hayden had great battles at the front with many lead changes in the final with Henry , Parker was quick and right on the back of them in 3rd . Was anyone’s race , well done to Henry on the win.

Ashton raced his new Omega kart with new sponsor Air Touch 5 , and had a great battle with Theo in 5th.

Last weekend Hayden tackled another new track for Round 5 in the Victorian Country Series at the Warrnambool Kart Club.

After finishing the practices in 4th and 3rd Hayden was confident that he would be competitive and ended up qualifying 3rd but could’ve been 7th or 8th with how tight the times were.

Heat 1 - P3 ➡️ P3
Heat 2 - P3 ➡️ P1 🥇
Heat 3 - P1 ➡️ P2
Final - P2 ➡️ P2

Finishing the round in 2nd and banking the most points was a fantastic achievement. All Hayden has wanted since round 2 this year in the VCS is to finish the final on the podium, and whilst he has in heat races he was never able to capitalise in the final.

Hayden has progressed this year due to having the best support crew any young driver could have. Thanks to Josef Mercuio for the guidance, Domin8 Racing who gives so much time and advice, Kym for his tips and decades of wisdom, and JGR for bringing it all together .
