A hzj75 transfer case rebuild in position . The customer purchased this vehicle online from interstate.

Unfortunately it appears that the previous owner knew the problems and off loaded it, This transfer case looks it had been apart and the idler gear that had lost it hardening on the inside so they fitted it back with a new shaft. We have replaced the idler gear along with a bearing kit. We only use high quality parts and genuine Seals . Also we had to rebuild the back diff , it should have had an l*d but it had a standard diff. The pinion bearings had been tensioned wrong which burnt the bearing out . Beware when you buy a vehicle, and have it checked out before you hand over the money . I’ve seen many get caught out with other peoples problems.

How much labour cost does anyone pay for their repairs? as I would one day publish our rate with lower overheads soon .
