Many rural vehicles are fitted with bull bars to help protect the front of the vehicle from wildlife strikes. Take care whilst driving at dawn and dusk, as wildlife are generally more active at these times.

Did you know that cruise control was actually invented by a blind man?

Ralph Teetor, was a mechnical engineer who lost his sight in a childhood accient.
Teetor was annoyed by the jerky driving of his patent attorney, whose speed was inconsistent depending if he was listening or talking.
It took 10 years of testing, but in 1950, he patented his "Speedostat", with Chrysler the first to utilise the technology in 1958 calling it "Auto-Pilot".

Gippsland Auto A/C is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician / 2IC to join our family-owned workshop in Gippsland.

Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 8 years mechanical experience
- Advanced diagnostic skills on modern vehicles
- Automotive Air Conditioning qualification and experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Reliable, motivated and able to work independently

The Role:
- Servicing, repairs and inspections on a variety of vehicles
- Perform advanced diagnostics and fault finding
- Automotive A/C diagnosis and repair
- Lead workshop operations in the absence of management
- Maintaining high workshop and customer service standards

Did you know that leaving your keyless entry fob inside your car for prolonged periods, or within 3-5 meters of your car, can significantly drain your battery?

When left in the vehicle, the fob sends out continuous signals to your cars operating system, which will turn on electrics and draws battery power.

It is recommended that you remove your fob from your vehicle when exiting, this will also decrease the opportunity for thieves to steal your car.
