At Torque & Tea vol.1, Abbie spoke honestly about the mental battles that follow her back onto the track after a serious spinal injury. The nerves are real — sometimes overwhelming — but her way through is action: prepare, focus, and keep moving forward.
That’s what makes her story resonate so strongly with Action Anxiety Day. Anxiety is something many of us face, whether in high-stakes competition or daily life. The message behind this day is that action, however small, is the antidote. It could be as simple as lacing up your shoes, making a call, or taking a breath before you start the engine.
Abbie’s mantra is a reminder that courage isn’t the absence of fear — it’s choosing to ride through it. On June 10, we stand with her and with everyone learning to take action against anxiety, one step at a time.
