🚗 Torque Converter Replacement 🔧

This VF Commodore came into the workshop with a transmission leak that needed immediate attention. After removal and inspection, we found the torque converter was cracked at the neck, allowing transmission fluid to leak out a common fault that can quickly lead to serious gearbox damage if left unattended.

✅ Transmission removed
✅ Faulty torque converter replaced
✅ Transmission refitted and serviced
✅ Vehicle road-tested and returned leak-free

Catching issues like this early can save thousands in major transmission repairs.

If you’ve noticed transmission fluid leaks, shuddering, slipping, or unusual noises, don’t ignore the warning signs.

🚗 105 Series LandCruiser Radiator Replacement ❄️🔥

Today we had this tough 105 Series LandCruiser in the workshop for an emergency radiator replacement.
These rigs are built to tackle anything, but even the most reliable engines rely on a healthy cooling system to stay performing at their best.

Here’s a look at the work we have done:

✅ Old radiator removed
✅ Cooling system inspected
✅ Fresh radiator fitted
✅ Coolant replaced & system bled
✅ Vehicle back to running cool and ready for the next adventure

If your 4WD is running hotter than usual, losing coolant, or showing signs of overheating, now’s the time to get it checked.

🚗 Another day, another VF Thermostat Sorted! 🔧🔥

We had another VF Commodore in the workshop for a thermostat replacement, A job that’s far from simple on these models. To access the thermostat, the transmission has to be removed, making it a labour-intensive repair that needs to be done properly the first time.

Once removed, we replaced the thermostat, inspected the cooling system, and ensured everything was sealed, torqued, and refitted to factory spec. The end result? Smooth temps, reliable performance, and peace of mind for the owner.

If your VF is showing temp issues or coolant concerns, don’t wait cooling system faults escalate quickly.

🚨Customer Came In With Brake Noise? Here’s What We Found… 🚨

We had a 4WD owner come in concerned about loud noises while braking. After removing the drum assembly, it was clear why the brake shoes were heavily worn and overheating and the drums were heavily lipped.

Signs like squealing, grinding, or vibration while braking shouldn’t be ignored.

We replaced the worn shoes as well as the drums, and ensured everything was correctly adjusted and safe for the road and off-road adventures ahead.

If your brakes are making noise or don’t feel quite right, let us take a look before it becomes a major safety issue.
