The testing and development of the Ashvault G Backpack 22L is complete.

We've been quiet on this page (and quite the opposite on our PEAK MOTO page) because we have been busy considering every bit of feedback from our 50 riders across Australia, and incorporating it into our latest product.

The Ashvault G Backpack sample has travelled thousands of kms, mostly on the back of a rider, and passed by hand from tester to tester - including one tester who rode from Perth to Adelaide to pick it up!

Over the past 12 months we've gone from the V1 prototype (basically an empty sack) then to V2 which had tons of upgrades.

Finally, we're in the "X-Pac Fabric" version where we're experimenting with lightweight tear-proof and waterproof fabrics for this commuter bag design. We are also doubling down on stitching quality and zipper durability.

Because the Ashvault product line specialises in comfort, we kept the ergonomics of Ashvault X and minimised excess fabric where we could to keep it both lightweight and functional.

This sample is almost in our hands and if all goes well, we'll get production underway.

PEAK MOTO turns 1! A baby!

Thank you to everyone who chooses to support small business.

You absolute legends.

Would you believe it? Peak Moto has just turned 1! 🎉

In February 2023, we opened the doors to Flying Solo Gear Co.’s first retail store after 7 years of solely operating online.

After outgrowing the original space, we moved to our current shop in June 2023 and created a new company called Peak Moto! Steph started helping out on Saturdays and more recently started handling the finance and admin side of things.

In February 2024, our amazing Lisa joined the team to become the face of in-store sales and the engine behind our online dispatch.

Both of these incredible women allowed me (Amanda) to focus on the marketing and discovery aspects of the business, so that more riders can find us.

More business means being able to stock more gear, to then support the needs of a wider range of riders.

Every tag, mention, comment, recommendation, 5-star review, and bits of feedback help us immensely. It means a lot to us when you choose to support small business, knowing how competitive this industry is.

We would like to thank you for being part of this crazy and exciting journey with us. Here’s to more years ahead!

Loren Turnbull has been riding motorbikes for nearly a decade and has since been an integral part of the women’s riding community on the Gold Coast as the area mod of East Coast Female Riders

She’s ridden in Thailand with our Tully Tailbag and also reps her Cypress Hoodie and Octane Leg Bag at home on her Aprilia RS660!

Seeing this thing rock up with not only a Tully Tailbag… but custom decals featuring our name and logos!!

So much thought (and funds 💸) have gone into prepping this beast of a machine.

It feels so surreal seeing our Octane Leg Bag repped by Ellen from MotoGirl!

MotoGirl are our European distributor and are based in the UK just outside of London 🇬🇧

Many years ago when FSGC was a tiny operation out of a home garage, I was riding around in MotoGirl’s first product, their Kevlar leggings.

Now that they stock our products over there, it feels like we’ve come full circle!
