To the women who ride!! WinA’s Director Kate Peck caught up with Jess Isedale, instructor at Stay Upright, to hear what it’s really like teaching people to ride.

Jess has been with Stay Upright since May 2022. She talks openly about the surprise some riders show when they realise their instructor is a woman, the joy she gets when her students have that lightbulb moment and her initial nerves when she was learning to coach!

Her advice for women thinking about this career: just go for it. Every female instructor out there is proof of what’s possible for the next one.

Thank you to Stay Upright for backing women in this industry.
