We are seeking a qualified or third year mechanic with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for working with vehicles, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with great team morale! Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and customer satisfaction.
• You will conduct servicing, diagnosis and repairs of automotive engines, transmissions and suspension systems.
• Diagnose vehicle problems effectively and properly identify the required parts needed for repairs.
• Providing expert advice about the mechanical condition of vehicles
Qualifications:
• Minimum of Certificate 3 Automotive Light Vehicle
• Strong diagnostic skills & attention to detail
• Ability to work unsupervised and part of a team
• Current manual driver's licence
• Wheel alignment experience preferred
• Sense of humour (we’re a fun but hard-working team!)
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
