🚗💧 MAJOR OIL LEAK? WE COME TO YOU! 💧🚗

This beautiful Lexus owner contacted All Automotive Servicing with concerns about a major engine oil leak.

We attended the customer’s home and carried out a thorough onsite inspection, quickly identifying the source of the leak as a rear main crankshaft seal. As many technicians know, this seal is located between the engine and transmission, making it one of the more labour-intensive oil leaks to repair.

The customer had already received a quotation from Lexus and asked if we could help. Not only were we able to complete the repair using genuine Lexus parts, but we also beat the dealership quotation by more than 30%! 💰

One of the biggest concerns the customer had was whether a mobile mechanic could carry out a repair of this magnitude.

The answer is absolutely!

This Jeep Grand Cherokee came to us with an oil pressure fault that could have ended very differently. After diagnosis, we found the oil pump had become stuck on high pressure. Fortunately for the customer, it wasn’t stuck on low pressure, which could have resulted in catastrophic engine damage from lack of lubrication.

To ensure a reliable long-term repair, we carried out:
✅ Oil pump replacement
✅ Complete timing chain replacement
✅ Timing system inspection and setup
✅ Engine reassembly and testing

As you can see from the photos, this was no small task. The entire front of the engine was stripped down, timing components removed, and critical engine components replaced to restore proper oil pressure and engine operation.

🔥 Another major on-site repair completed by All Automotive Servicing 🔥

Customer booked this Audi in for a routine service and overheating concerns. After carrying out pressure testing and a full cooling system inspection, we quickly identified multiple coolant leaks causing the overheating issue.

Faults found:
• Radiator leaking coolant heavily
• Thermostat housing assembly leaking
• Cooling system contamination and coolant loss

The front end was stripped down on-site to gain access and carry out the repairs correctly. New components fitted, cooling system vacuum filled and bled, followed by extensive testing to ensure correct operating temperature and reliability. ✅

Customer regularly tows a caravan and began noticing a loud knocking noise whilst driving. After carrying out a full inspection, we found multiple worn suspension and driveline components requiring urgent attention.

Faults found included:
• Rear differential pinion with excessive play
• Tailshaft universal joint completely worn out
• Lower control arm bushes severely split
• Front sway bar links knocking
