Customer booked this Audi in for a routine service and overheating concerns. After carrying out pressure testing and a full cooling system inspection, we quickly identified multiple coolant leaks causing the overheating issue.

Faults found:
• Radiator leaking coolant heavily
• Thermostat housing assembly leaking
• Cooling system contamination and coolant loss

🚐🔧 Another big on-site repair completed by All Automotive Servicing!

Customer regularly tows a caravan and began noticing a loud knocking noise whilst driving. After carrying out a full inspection, we found multiple worn suspension and driveline components requiring urgent attention.

Faults found included:
• Rear differential pinion with excessive play
• Tailshaft universal joint completely worn out
• Lower control arm bushes severely split
• Front sway bar links knocking
• Front shock absorbers & strut tops worn
• Rear CV shaft joints clunking under load

🚨 Emergency Clutch Replacement – New Year’s Eve Save! 🚨

Customer contacted us on New Year’s Eve after getting stuck with a failing clutch. Vehicle was revving extremely high in all gears with barely any movement, making it unsafe and impossible to drive properly.

We attended immediately to assess the issue. While carefully moving the vehicle into position to carry out the repair, the clutch finally let go completely right then and there — talk about perfect timing.

A full emergency clutch replacement was carried out on-site, getting the customer back on the road and saving their New Year’s plans.

🚨 EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSIST – MAZDA CX-5 DIESEL

Customer contacted us in an emergency after her Mazda CX-5 diesel went into limp mode, with multiple warning lights appearing on the dashboard.

Upon scanning the vehicle, we found a throttle body failure. When we removed the throttle body, large chunks of carbon deposits fell out of the intake manifold, and the throttle body was completely seized due to carbon buildup.

Further inspection revealed the entire intake was full of carbon, with even the valve ports clearly coated. With the customer’s approval, we performed a full carbon clean, replaced the throttle body, and regenerated the DPF.

This issue was caused by lack of maintenance and overfilled engine oil. On diesel engines, leaving services too long can cause fuel to enter the engine oil, block the DPF, and accelerate carbon buildup in the intake.

Luckily, there was no further engine damage, customers vehicle is now running smoothly.

💡 Takeaway: Regular servicing on diesel vehicles is crucial to prevent DPF issues, carbon buildup, and throttle body failures. Catching problems early can save thousands in repairs.
