M5 E60 Repair and Maintenance

Challenges Encountered During Repair

• Some times we turst our cars to reliable repair workshops unfortunately not this beautiful M5 E60 didnt deserve dignity.
• Just about every plug was broken and loss wiring harness from previous bank one throttle body actuator replacement.
• Just remember when items comes in pairs always its best to replace both at the same time.
• Sadly the bank 2 throttle body actuator failed and replaced required.
• Sadly most of the plugs broken but the most difficult part was to removal of the plugs as most of them was glued and Silicone.
• Unfortunately some of these plugs are not in any dealership to order specially in Australia.
• Some of the coil packs broken previous and notting but a nightmare .

Parts Used and Service Performed

• Thankfully due to knowledge and patience all the worked was performed accordingly.

• 10 spark plugs
• 10 genuine bmw coils
• Bank 2 genuine bmw throttle body actuator.
• K&N air filers .
• EBC brake pads and sensors.
• Brake fluid flush.
• Genuine BMW oil cooler.
• Full vehicle service and lost of cleaning and taping up all the loose electrical connections.
• Thankfully she drives extremely well.

During my formative years, I gained extensive experience in the seafood industry, specifically in fish filleting, and worked on large fishing vessels in both Australia and New Zealand long ling fishing.

For the BMW X1 F48, we have completed the replacement of the broken engine mounts driver side and lower enginestabiliser mount, a comprehensive vehicle service, and a brake fluid flush.

Additionally, the engine bay has been steam cleaned, and the vehicle is scheduled with our BMW partners for EGR and EGR cooler replacement next Monday.

The customer expressed significant satisfaction with the services provided.

Front Sway bar links installation completed.
Brake fluid flush completed.
Engine bay steam cleaned.
And definitely we didn't use silicone glue for the sump plug.
