Built for utility field operations, this Ford Ranger Super Duty fit-out by RXI gives Energy Queensland crews a mobile workspace to transport specialist equipment, manage long loads and support daily work across changing site conditions.

Major features include a 2550mm asymmetrical Canopex® half-open-centre service body, adjustable shelving, small-parts trays, underbody lockers, conduit carriers and dual ladder holders. Work lights, amber beacons, digital switching, reversing safety systems and auxiliary power provisions complement a heavy-duty bull bar, driving lights, 9000lb self-recovery winch, portable air compressor, water provision, pull-out access step and awning.

Together, these features help crews work safely and efficiently in the field. Organised storage keeps equipment accessible, lighting and warning systems improve visibility, and the access step supports safer entry. Featuring the new Toyota Hilux, this cladded Canopex® fitout is equipped for offsite work.

The configuration includes internal and external lighting, a fridge slide, an inverter, an underbody water tank, underbody weed/seed protection and site-specific safety accessories, all purposed to extend the vehicle's capability when working away from fixed facilities such as Origin Energy's Surat Basin gas field.

The new DAT bar housing the reversing camera and CTR sensors has been thoroughly engineered to co-exist with the rear step, water tank and taillights.

For fleets operating in remote environments, RXI develop vehicle fitouts based on the work, equipment and the field techs who depend on these assets.
