We just finished stripping down & restoring the glass on this legendary beast, and the transformation is unreal! (Tap the photos to see the full turnaround! 📸)

But this isn't just any 90's sedan. For the car nerds out there, can you guess what this is?

This is the iconic Toyota Cressida (MX83/MX85 Generation), and it has a massive secret! Beneath that luxury commuter exterior, it is essentially a Supra in disguise! 🤫

- The Heart: It shares the exact same 3.0-litre, 24-valve inline-6 engine (the 7M-GE) as the Mk3 Toyota Supra.

- The Bones: It runs the same independent rear suspension and heavy-duty drivetrain, which is why enthusiast communities call it the "4-door Supra"

Happy Monday! 😎

This customer said his windscreen jumped every time he shut the door or hit a bump while driving.
After a quick inspection I could see why 😂

I was told this window was only replaced just over a year ago by a reputable company 🤦‍♂️

Safe to say this gave me a chuckle on this cold and wet Melbourne Monday.

The rust and dirt buildup on the bonding line of glue bead shows the level of care that was taken by the last installers!

They just don't build them like they used to. 🏁

Freshly completed: This stunning 1971 Ford Es**rt Mk1. Back in the day, these lightweight, rear-wheel-drive machines were dominating the global rally circuit and tearing up local tracks. Today, they are pure, nostalgic gold.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about putting the finishing touches on a piece of local automotive history. Standard commuter or rally weapon, the Mk1 will always be an absolute standout.
