Is this the reason my shop is packed with Holdens...???
Saw an ad of couple of HK for sale in 2024 in Greece and was thinking of getting parts from Australia and restoring them there...

Did you know Holden was once a common sight on the streets of Greece?

Long before Holden disappeared from Australian showrooms, models like the HK, HT and HG were assembled in Greece by GM Hellas and even found work as taxis! Built tough and simple to maintain, they were a familiar sight carrying passengers through Athens and beyond.

It’s pretty wild to think that while Aussies remember these as family cars and muscle cars, over in Greece they were earning a living every single day as taxis.

Have you ever seen one in person over there, or have family photos of a Holden taxi in Greece? I’d love to see them! 🇬🇷🇦🇺
