Did a Pre-Purchase inspection on this XC Falcon panel van factory 6 cylinder with a Ford 351 V8 Engine transplant, which presented absolutely stunning, had a fresh engine with mild cam and really nice sounding twin exhaust system, drove and sounded amazing on the road.
However did come with as you would expect from a car this age a list negatives I.e rust bubbles coming through paint work, excessive body filler, some under body rust, oil leaks spent belts unfinished under body work and some cosmetic defects. However being the exact car the buyer wanted decided to negotiate the price hitting the seller with the defects I found and got a respectable 5k off the asking price to fix himself šŸ‘

Did a Pre-Purchase inspection on this VK Blue Meanie (replica) at a dealership, at first glance was quite stunning with a fresh paint job and expensive scheel interior & new carpets looking the part, however that was was about the best of it, it was quite clear that who ever did the resto had not intension of keeping it and was simply done for profit, being a factory 6 cylinder car with original 6 cylinder diff & drum brakes. Mean while a 304 Holden V8 conversation done with a T4 manual trans. The problem was the engine was just a stock runner with oil leaks everywhere plus sump was badly dinged up meaning engine had to come out again. Other things to note were foot wells were bashed up dash was not secured properly so rattled on road, heater fan didnā€™t work or radio or cig socket, and the list went on and on so really was not finished properly, estimated another 15-20k to finish left me underwhelmed. On top of a 90k asking price was just not worth it, hence perspective buyer was glad I checked it over first as he didnā€™t think it was either.

This unrestored one owner 1984 Mercedes 300D was really like something out of a museum! Original paint, plates and a full service history. Being an early diesel it didnā€™t get you anywhere fast but drove fantastic on the road, only really needing a few cosmetic issues fixed a couple of headlight lens and a vacuum pump oil leak for rwc, credit to the previous owner, amazing..

Had a look over this 2016 Mercedes C63 at a car yard in the city, sporting a 4.0L twin turbo 503hp engine, all I can say is if your in the market for one of these they are a whole lot of wow. Only issues found were it needed a front and rear brake overhaul and some OBD2 computer fault codes checked, the Proud new owner of this beauty got these things rectified by the dealer which in car like this would cost over 2k so still money well spent getting it checked over.

Checked over this beautiful late 2015 Mercedes AMG GTR, for a Syndey Buyer who couldnā€™t make it to Melbourne to see for himself, as it turned out it was in Show room condition and had no defects or previous accident damage due to a fastidious seller, giving buyer 100% piece of mind buying unseen, must say this was a joy to inspect and drive šŸ˜

So, did a pre purchase inspection on this well set up 2018 Toyota Hilux with only 40k on the odometer for a Sydney man who couldnā€™t fly down, initially looked pretty good , however after a few alarm bells, e.g multiple panels been off, L/H headlight point long way lower than the right, paint overspray, A/C not working and no service books.. after conducting a PPSR history check it turned out it was a repairable write off and had sustained a major frontal impact which the owner did not disclose! Safe to say the prospective buyer did not buy, this vehicle is sure to give gremlins for the rest of its life and I feel sorry for the next person that came along who didnā€™t get it checked because itā€™s a late model with low kmā€™s and bought it.

This VE GTS was one of the best VEā€™s Iā€™ve ever seen seen for a now 15 year old car, was near immaculate and truely stunning in red, credit to the seller, for the Sydney buyer was still worth getting piece of mind as still cheaper than flying to see it, plus it did need a/c compressor replacement and few minor other items which gave buyer some bargaining power.

I Did a Pre-Purchase inspection on this super tuff LH Torana SLR 5000 replica, the owner did a fantastic job of building the whole car himself, owned it for years and had his fun with it. Sporting a worked 383 Chev and a 9inch diff. The car did come with a few issues that needed rectifying, but nothing major, but the customer at least knew exactly what he was up for, this car is now claimed by a very happy Sydney man, in his words ā€œa Life time Dream!ā€
