This classic Kombi was looking schmick in its fresh paint but the wiring, while mostly intact, functionally and cosmetically left something to be desired.
Age can take it's toll but normally even a very butchered loom can be saved and it didn't take long to get it back to functional and presentable.

Front and rear lightning, horn, interior light, dashboard, gauges engine loom restored to function in less than a day.

Tight space constraints made this one a little trickier than some, but well worth the extra effort to make use of all available space.

In the rear seat location we have the ever reliable Australian made RedArc 40A DC-DC charger feeding a 105Ah GEL battery. Even if you are currently running a traditional battery this is a great way to future proof for drop in LiPo upgrade down the track.

We also have a fuse box for accessories and massive 0 gauge cable to supply a huge 2000W continuous 240V inverter! All protected by Midi and Mega fuses and sleeved wiring looms from front to rear.

In the rear we have a switch box, with hot water service and a pump for shower and washing dishes.
We also have a fridge power supply, along with multiple Anderson plugs including an input for solar blanket.

A rugged setup for a extremely capable truck!
