TurboJet Engineering Pty Ltd is proud to announce FAA certification of our Cessna Citation Bravo, Ultra and Encore Primus Elite Enhanced Features STC.

Removing the old technology cathode ray tube display units and replacing them with the Honeywell DU-875AF liquid crystal display units the upgrade allows additional features such as Jeppesen Charts, Enhanced Navigational Maps and XM Weather to be displayed on the aircrafts multi-function display, further enhancing the capabilities of the Primus 1000 Avionics suite fitted to the aircraft.

The installation also includes dual ergonomic armrest mounted Cursor Control Devices for the flight crew that were designed, prototyped and tested in house and will be manufactured locally and distributed worldwide.

A wonderful start to 2022 with the CASA approval of our Cessna Citation Bravo, Ultra and Encore Primus Elite Supplemental Type Certificate.

Removing the existing cathode ray tube display units and replacing them with the DU-875AF liquid crystal display units the upgrade allows additional features such as Jeppesen Charts, Enhanced Navigational Maps and XM Weather to be displayed on the aircrafts multi-function display, further enhancing the capabilities of the Primus 1000 Avionics suite fitted to the aircraft.

With a number of design obstacles being present in the aircraft during the developmental phase, primarily due to the limited cockpit space available a custom Cursor Control Device for the crew positions was required as well as an integrated control switching system allowing for the operation of the cursor controllers from either crew position without interfering with the opposing controller when the aircraft is operated in a two crew configuration.

The Cursor Control Device was designed, prototyped and tested in house and will be manufactured locally and distributed worldwide following approval of the Supplemental Type Certificate by the various National Aviation Authorities around the world.

A big week for us at TurboJet Engineering with the approval of our Primus Elite Advanced Features Supplemental Type Certificate into the Learjet 40/45 Series Aircraft with the FAA. The PEAF adds the Honeywell Synthetic Vision System to an already highly capable aircraft, increasing safety, increasing capabilities and adding value!
