Hooped or hoopless? We fitted a Savage Hooped Bull Bar to a GWM Tank 300 today. 🛡️

We've done plenty of hoopless ones, but the hooped version gives it a completely different feel. The hoop up front adds more protection and that traditional Aussie 4WD look — suits the Tank 300's boxy shape perfectly. Proper road presence.

And it's not just for looks. Bull bars earn their keep when you're touring, camping, or off-roading: front-end protection, winch mounting, lighting, recovery points.

So which is better? No right answer.
• Hoopless — cleaner, closer to factory front end.
• Hooped — more protection, more old-school 4WD.

Denza B5 — do you really need electric side steps? Yeah, probably. ✅

Today we fitted the latest Savage Electric SmartSteps to a Denza B5.

It's not just for looks. Here's why it makes sense:

• Easy access — auto deploys when you open the door, retracts when you close it. Great for kids, elderly parents, or daily driving.
• Cleaner look, better clearance — tucks away when not in use, so it's not hanging off the side.
• RGB lighting — app-controlled colour, brightness, and patterns. Plus indicator sync.
• Factory-style fit — aluminium build, no cutting or drilling, hidden brackets and wiring.

If you're doing hardcore off-roading, rock sliders might be the better call. But for daily driving, camping, and light touring? Electric steps are a bloody good upgrade — you'll use them every day.

Does your Starlink Mini have to sit on top of the roof rack? Not necessarily. 🛠️

Today we did a full touring electrical upgrade on a Denza B8:
Starlink Mini 👌
12V Anderson plugs👌
Centre console switch panel 👌

But the clever bit? The owner already had a Savage Roof Rack. Instead of slapping the Starlink on top, we made a custom bracket and tucked it underneath. Why? Roof space is precious. This way, the rack stays free for gear, and the Starlink blends right in.

We also added two 12V Anderson outlets and a switch panel on the top of the cabin, so everything's easy to control from the cabin.

Good touring setups aren't about bolting everything on. They're about making each bit take less space, easier to use, and suit the car properly. This B8 is a ripper example.

First B5 BULL BAR we test-fitted in Melbourne. 🇦🇺

We've just test-fitted the first Denza B5 Bull Bar in Melbourne. Not a render. Not AI. Actually fitted on a DENZA B5 and looks 👌

What we know with the bull bar setup:
✅ Hooped Bull Bar
✅ Integrated Winch Cradle
✅ Savage Crash Plate & Recovery Points
✅ UHF / Sand Flag Mount Points
✅ Integrated Light Bar

Tougher, but not overdone, it's not just looks too we are trailing a winch, UHF, integrated light bar, recovery points and protection.

All sorted for touring, offroad and if you just want to upgrade your DENZA. This is the B5 bull bar I've been waiting for.

Touring Setup — Step 2: Practicality. 🔧

Step 1 was protection. Step 2? Making your rig actually work for you.

• Roof Rack — move bulky gear up top. Swags, maxtrax, awnings.
• Roller Shutter / Canopy — depends how you use your ute. Daily? Canopy for tools and fridge.
• Side Steps / Electric Steps — easier access, especially with kids or as a daily.

Protection gets you out there safely. Practicality makes it easy once you're there.

Delica L400 — build complete. ✅

Day 3. The final piece is on. Bull bar, snorkel, bash plate — the full protection package is now fitted.

This old-school Delica is now properly set up for the rough stuff. Water crossings? Sorted. Rocks and ruts? Bash plate's got it. Front-end protection? Bull bar's on.

Protection first. Every time.

Three days. Three upgrades. One tough Delica.

Delica L400 — snorkel on.

Delica L400: snorkel fitted. Customer's after the full protection package — bull bar, snorkel, and bash plate. Bull bar's already sorted, snorkel's on now. Bash plate next.

Because if you're taking an old-school Delica off the beaten track, you want to keep water out of the engine and rocks away from the sump. Classic van, proper build.

Today we kicked off an off-road upgrade on a Delica L400. Customer's list: Bull Bar, snorkel, and bash plate. Proper protection first, then the rest.

Land Cruiser — Starlink on Rhino Rack, with in-cab switch. ✅

Today's job: Starlink on a Land Cruiser. Customer already had a Rhino Rack, so we used our basic setup box and mounted it straight to the rack. Clean, simple, solid.

We also fitted a physical switch in the cabin — one press to turn Starlink on or off.
