Updates.
Andys Cruiser is getting ready for plumbing and piping. She will be getting treated to:
-Exhaust System
-Hot/Cold Turbo Plumbing
-Snorkel
-AirBox

We hope to be able
to offer these parts for sale in the coming months.

Some challenges with turbo fitment. This SXE362 needed a different turbo manifold due to its size. Ignore the tacked-in bracket as this is just for mock-up.

Fits quite nicely and meets all the ADR clearance requirements for engineering.

We are going to run the factory 1FZ radiator as this motor runs quite well and this provided adequate cooling on the stand.

The fans are from a holden(more on this later), something we are evaluating for this particular build.

The little huntsman Spider was a gift from our exhaust vendor as it came with the exhaust!

We are trying out different designs for downpipe kits that you can use with off-the-shelf after-market systems.

Making your swap a bit more reasonable to build.

First Pass at Engineering inspection was a success!

Green Light on Clearances! No call-outs on any of the parts. Our VicRoads Engineer was happy with our Engine Mounts, the transmission adapter, the drag link support bracket, and all the clearances around the engine, and transmission to body.

This is a great milestone considering the Engineering Rules of Victoria!

We will be publishing a full write up of all the rules and considerations for engineering
Toyota Land Cruiser 100 series here in Victoria once completed.

Additionally, our engineer will be publicized offering Land Cruiser Engineering once we have completed the Build so stay tuned!

Few updates this week. We have started working with Mathew over at Double Duty Diesel

Double Duty stocks many common 6bt Cummins parts making it super convenient to be able to

source parts in-country.

We have been looking for a large air filter to feed this big turbocharger and the

PDD filter looks at the goods. This is the large filter 12" in length should flow plenty as it's rated to around 900hp.

Just for context that's a 20L container from bunnings just to get an idea of how big it is. O and Andys size 47 Foot for more reference!

In the package was also a Tork Tek overflow valve. Andys Cummins is running an AirDog Raptor 5g pump, and that overflow will suit the Pump nicely to prevent surging and pressurization issues.

Mathew also had that all too hard to find coolant check valve hose for the thermostat to head in stock!

Day 3: Engine in
