Hi Archie
It was lovely to meet you and the team last week when Ted and I dropped in. It was such a nice trip down memory lane for us. As promised I have attached a few photos.
Ted is second from the left in the group shot and Frank whose name is inscribed in the concete is 2nd from the right!
There is also a photo of an old calendar.

Teds father Frank Staples started working there in 1953 retiring in the early 1970’s. Ted started working there in the late 60’s taking over in 1970 with Frank Smith joining as a partner a couple of years later. Ted and Frank ran the business until 1988.

A fast paced, 4 bay workshop in South Oakleigh is seeking a qualified mechanic for an immediate start, if possible.

The person we seek must have achieved Australian qualifications, be mature minded and able to work independently. Most importantly, we require old school work ethic, dedication and the desire to fit in to a small yet very productive team.

We work alternating Saturdays, with overtime available.

New customer just got vehicle serviced at Archies service centre for the first time.
Customer complained at recent dealership where it was serviced last that heater was not blowing air through the vents.
Well here is a basic fix.
Blocked and dirty cabin filter which was causing air restriction
Problem fixed.
