🚗 Another Successful Intake Manifold Cleaning! 🚗
Had an intake manifold job this morning, but the owner didn’t mention an EGR issue. Normally, we don’t deal with EGR problems since our machine can't clean the EGR itself. However, that doesn’t mean we can't handle it—just that EGR issues are tricky. When an EGR fails, it’s often mechanically broken, and the only way to know for sure is to remove it. That’s a labour-intensive job.
Since we were already there, we took it out, gave it a proper clean, and did an ECU relearn. The result? The EGR is working again, saving the owner from a $10,000 dealership quote and getting the intake manifold sorted at the same time. Now the car runs like a dream! 🚀
