We had Cades Tb48T GQ in this week for a retune after his last engine broke a ringland.

The car has the following modifications.

Haltech platinum tb48 plug in
Cast low mount manifold
3582 turbo (we believe)
4" dump to a 3" exhaust
4" snorkel/airbox
Bosch 980cc injectors
Tuned on 98 oct fuel

We dialled the tune in on wastegate pressure and then wicked the boost up to 10 psi.
The car made 227kw and we think it is suffering from an inlet/exhaust restriction or the turbo is smaller then we think as we had to strangle the boost controller to get there.

With the number 1 priority for this car being reliability and fuel economy, we were not concerned about the power figure.
The car is an absolute torque monster and makes 5 psi at 1500rpm so its perfect for what the car gets used for.

With the engine now no longer suffering from detonation it should live a very long and happy life, well as happy as it can be on limiter in a bog hole.

We had adams sled in for a touch up after he added factory boost control to his sexy wagon.

We were very soft on the tune up as this car is still on P98 and only has a 3" exhaust.

When Adam gets time he intends on making a full 4" system along with some other modifications, maybe a G40 is on the cards 🤔

After we ran it through all the low load sections of the maps to check all the trims are still perfect, we got to work dialling in some more boost.

We are very happy with the result from such a small 2 PSI increase we have picked up 50kw.

Adam is now back on the streets, rowing gears and breaking hearts with a healthy power increase.

We will convince him to put a man sized turbo and e85 on this car very soon stay tuned.

We had Browny and Ash come down from bendigo to have custom engine and zf calibrations carried out on there immaculate FG falcons

Both cars came in with the following
modifications,

• Head studs
• Valve springs
• Oil pump gears
• Antz race intercooler kits
• Full exhaust
• Battery relocation kit
• PSR GTX3584rs gen III
• PSR external gate rear housing
• Gfb external wastegates
• Bosch 1150cc injectors
• Walbro 460 fuel pump
• S.P E85 engine and zf calibration.

After loading base files into both cars and giving Brownys ute a quick zap on the dyno,
We had a boost control issue.

We started with rerouting some wastegate solenoid lines but the issue was still very much a problem.

For interest sake we backed Ashs F6 on the dyno and it had the exact same issue.

So after making an educated guess, we made the call to Josh at ProHose and had 2x Turbosmart 45mm wastegates delivevered.

After fitting both wastegates we put the ute back on the dyno and like magic, we had perfect boost control like we always get from the PSR rear housings.

After comparing the two wastegates (GFB vs Turbosmart) we found the GFB has roughly half the poppet travel as the turbosmart unit.
Along with that the area above the poppet valve is also much smaller on the GFB unit causing boost to climb uncontrollably on these setups.

We finished up with the ute making 402kw on 17 psi and the F6 making 411kw on 16 psi.

Both cars are out of fuel pump and will be returning with surge tanks fitted and may be getting turned up a little bit once the boys get bored of 400kw.

We are absolutely wrapped with how both cars turned out and i can tell you, after the test drives the boys couldn't wipe the smile off their faces.

It was an absolute pleasure to tune these absolutely immaculate falcons.
We havent had engines this happy for quite some time, and they should both easily make 480-500kw with some more fuel pump.

We had Zacks very tidy gu coil cab patrol in this week for a custom 98 octane calibration.

After battling some vct issues and then having a set of coil packs leave the chat,
we soldiered on and ended up with a fantastic result.

Power was held back a little bit by the china intercoolers lack of cooling ability.

We kept the boost at a gentle 15 psi and dialled the timing in using knock detection equipment as we do on any car running 98 fuel.

The mod list is pretty simple yet gave us some great result.

Fg turbo engine
Head studs
Valve springs
Oil pump gears
PSR 3584 IWG
3" exhaust
Fenix intercooler
S.P custom calibration

We are wrapped with the results and look forward to seeing Zack use the car for the touring/towing and offroading it was built for.
(Try and keep this one the right way up mate)

We had Josephs au turbo sohc street/drift car in this week's for some S.P magic.
Sporting a ba ecu we got to work dialling in the setup.
After sorting out some ignition misfire issues with some replacement coil packs, we also fitted some colder range spark plugs with a tighter gap.

With the aim of the game being reliability on 98 octane, we were very conservative with the tune up,
With a peak of 8.5 psi we managed a best of 183kw and 540nm.

The log style exhaust manifold seems to be strangling power in the top end along with the stock camshaft.
we did try turning the boost up slightly and gained nothing past 4000 rpm so it was turned back down to 8.5 psi.

The car drives great and should cover all bases on and off the street.

This week we had Liam's immaculate NIZPRO built bf f6 in for a health check after being tuned elsewhere.
The car came in with the factory boost control disconnected and a boost T in its place,
Cruise control not working and the car being super lazy to drive.

We got to work throwing the boost T in the rubbish bin and refitting the factory Solenoid, flashed the car back to stock.
After a complete S.P retune the car now rips how it should with cruise control working how it should.
We found the limit of the wastegate spring as you can see on the dyno chart.
Boost peaks at 25 and falls off to 23 up top.

The car has the following items fitted to it,

Nizpro built engine
T56 with extreme twin plate clutch
Nizpro 4" exhaust
T51R turbo charger
Twin 044 surge
ID1700cc injectors
Nizpro plenum
Nizpro intercooler and piping
S.P custom E85 calibration
If it was in the nizpro catalogue, this car has it.

We will be organising a few more wastegate springs for Liam next week which will be followed by a retune.
Hopefully we can crack 550-600kw.

There's not many of these cars left in this condition, we are greatful to be given the task of tuning this absolute glamour.

We had Michaels early RG Colorado in this week to have the maf issue rectified after he had fitted an aftermarket airbox and snorkel.

We also completed a custom calibration for him tailored to suit his lifestyle.

We ran it up in stock trim and it produced 97kw and 410nm which is very healthy considering it was on 33" tyres.

We got to work dialling in the calibration which resulted in a best of 115kw and 502nm after letting the car cool down.
With the car completely heat soaked it still made an impressive 111kw and 480nm.

We have picked up 80nm from the moment you step on the loud pedal which has transformed the way it drives.

We also had to sort Michael out with a hard cut rev limiter, for scientific reasons of course.

The car now has no more limp mode issues and drives how it should of from the factory.

Michael was wrapped with the results and how the car now drives.

If your sick of your Colorado driving like a wet sock,
Book in now and we can tailor a calibration to suit your every need.

We had Ben's barra powered XD falcon back in for a health check before Drag challenge and also completed a 98 tune so it's more economical for the driving portion of the trip.

First pull the car made 432kw which is exactly what it made last time
So we changed the fuel and retuned to suit.
We weren't chasing any power on 98 so it ended up with 250kw on 10 psi of boost and extremely soft timing wise.

Overall we are wrapped with the results and wish Ben the best of luck on his week of racing.

We had Edwards budget ea sleeper in for some Safe Performance keyboard slapping and boy it didnt disappoint.

The car was built with stuff Ed had laying around and it has turned out great,
With it sporting a lot of basic parts it has absolutely no issue deleting tyres at 100+kmh (in mexico of course)

The car consists of the following;

Bf na engine (1r23 rods)
Valve springs
Ba na ecu
Head studs
Antz gtx3584
China external wastegate
Bosch 1150s
Walbro 525lph
3.5" full exhaust
Boost T
Stock btr and converter
S.P custom E85 calibration

with the original goal being 350kw, we have smashed it for six with 367kw while still being fairly kind to the spaghetti rods.
If it had electronic boost control we could of potentially made 390-400kw if the boost stayed flat to the rev limiter.

Ed has built the perfect sleeper and weekend cruiser that wont draw unwanted attention from the boys in blue.

We had Cades newly acquired gu ute in sporting an fg na+t.
We completed some diagnostics on the car and found a few little issues which were fixed prior to tuning.
On the First pull it misfired so after a quick plug change we were ready to party on.

Specs of the car are,
Fg na engine
Fg turbo exhaust manifold
Fg na inlet manifold
Bosch 1150cc injectors
Unknown fuel pump
3576 with psr gtx core
Stock acuator
Stock dump to a full 3" exhaust
S.P custom 98 calibration

The car peeled out 219kw on 35" tyres,
On a measly 12 psi falling to 10 psi up top due to not having any form of boost control.

We were not inclined to turn it up anymore as Cade has 0 mechanical sympathy so we have tasked him with trying to kill it (he wont)

We had this tidy ba xr6 turbo in for some Safe Performance magic.

The car consists of the following tasty mods,
Bf gas engine
Bosch 1150cc injectors
Borgwarner s300 turbo
External wastegate
Plasmaman top half plenum
Ba turbo manifold with 3" Jpipe
Twin pump surge tank
Large intercooler
Pump E85
Full 4" exhaust
Factory boost control
And the factory ba turbo pcm putting in gods work with our Safe Performance custom calibration.

The car peeled out a very impressive 487kw on 24 psi with some very soft timing,
We decided to dial it back as we are getting to the pointy end of the injectors and longevity is the aim of the game.

The car left with 470kw and retains factory driveability with the 6 speed manual, that is of course until you step on the loud pedal.

We will leave it up to the owner to test the tensile strength of the factory axles and CV joints.
