🚗 DIRECT INJECTION ENGINE? CARBON BUILD-UP IS REAL.

If you own a direct-injected Audi or Volkswagen, carbon deposits can build up on the intake valves over time.

🔧 HOW DOES A VEHICLE DIAGNOSIS ACTUALLY WORK?

A proper diagnosis is more than simply plugging a scan tool into your car and reading a fault code.

When your vehicle comes to us with a warning light, unusual noise, poor performance or another issue, our technicians follow a structured process to find the actual cause of the problem.

We may need to:

• Scan the vehicle and analyse fault codes
• Check live data and operating values
• Carry out visual and mechanical inspections
• Test wiring, sensors and components
• Perform pressure, smoke or electrical testing
• Research manufacturer specifications and technical information
• Road test the vehicle and reproduce the fault
• Eliminate possible causes one by one

A fault code often tells us where to start looking — not which part to replace.

For example, a fault relating to a sensor doesn’t automatically mean the sensor itself has failed. The problem could be wiring, a vacuum leak, another component or something causing that sensor to read incorrectly.

That’s why diagnostic time is chargeable. You’re paying for the technician’s time, experience, equipment and knowledge required to correctly identify the fault.
