Summer is close, and the cooling system is the first part of the car to complain about it.

Coolant does not last forever. Hoses go brittle, a water pump starts weeping, and a small leak will sit there quietly until the first hot day in stopped traffic. That is when it stops being small, and an overheat on the Monash is a far more expensive morning than a check in the workshop.

A cooling check covers the condition of the coolant, whether any of it is escaping, and the components that move it around.

A logbook service is not one fixed job. What it covers depends on the car in front of you.

Service requirements change with the model, the engine, the age and the kilometres. The oil and filter are specified per engine, not per workshop. And the inspection is where the real value sits, because it tells you what needs attention before it turns into a bigger bill.

Warmer days are coming. Get the air conditioning sorted before you need it.

If the air is blowing warm, the usual cause is a leak, not a system that simply ran low. So we find the fault first, with leak detection and climate diagnostics, then regas with the right refrigerant for your car. Newer European models use R1234yf, older ones R134a, and they are not interchangeable.

Compressor and component repairs are done in house.

Brakes and suspension, checked properly.

Pads and rotors measured rather than guessed, calipers and fluid inspected, shocks, struts and bushes assessed for wear, and wheel nuts torqued to specification.

Braking and handling work as one system. Worn suspension unsettles the car under brakes, so a soft pedal or a pull to one side is not always the brakes on their own. We tell you what we found and quote it before any work goes ahead.

A warning light is a starting point, not a diagnosis.

The same code can come from several different causes, which is why a scan on its own is not enough. We read live data while the car is running, look at what the sensors are actually reporting, and where a component needs coding or adaptation we set it up properly and confirm the repair afterwards.
