The stuff you don’t always see 👀

Before a Wildtrail leaves us, Shenoa and I go over every inch of it.

Cleaning, checking, packing accessories, organising keys and making sure everything is exactly where it needs to be before handover.

It might look like “just cleaning a van” — but this is actually part of our handover process and part of the KPIs we hold ourselves accountable to.

Because after months of planning, designing and watching your van come together, the moment you finally walk in and see it ready to travel should feel pretty bloody special.

And yes… apparently it takes two of us moving at 7x speed to make it look this efficient 😂

The little details matter. Right through to the very last one.

We asked Shenoa to make some Christmas content.

We posted it to stories yesterday thinking that was enough… but I genuinely haven’t stopped laughing, so unfortunately for Shenoa, it now lives permanently on the grid.

Anyway, buried somewhere amongst whatever this is, there is an important message 😂

Another custom build, and this one has warm luxe written all over it. 🤎

This V-Spec features our Quad Delete layout, giving our clients the freedom to make the space work exactly the way they travel — and they absolutely nailed the brief.

There’s just something about this green. 🌿

Deep, earthy and a little bit different — this WC-S definitely isn’t one that’s going to blend into the background.

And while the colour might steal the show, there’s plenty of practicality tucked into the exterior too, with an external kitchen and external washing machine ready for life on the road.

We love seeing clients step outside the usual black, white and grey… and this one absolutely paid off.

We shared the tiniest glimpse of this one on our stories the other day and our inbox absolutely lit up — so here she is.

Dark, moody and seriously luxe. Deep finishes paired with warm backlighting throughout give this interior such a rich, cosy feel — and we’re a little obsessed with how it all came together.

Proof that going dark doesn’t have to make a space feel heavy. 🤎

Another F229 ready to hit the road 🤎

Hannah & Matt’s V-Spec left us today, with a few thoughtful tweaks to make this layout work perfectly for the way they travel.

Inside you’ll spot the solid surface benchtops, warm interior lighting, king bed upgrade, full-height pantry, 224L compressor fridge, rear bunks and a little desk space tucked into the bunk area.

And while this reel is all about the inside, there’s plenty you can’t see 👀 — including a huge 48V Victron power system built for some serious off-grid capability.

The outside deserves a reel of its own, so we’ll show you that one next.

Is caravan servicing really that important? 🤔

The short answer? Yes.

Just like your tow vehicle, your caravan should be serviced regularly to ensure it continues to operate safely and reliably. Every trip places stress on critical components through vibration, road conditions and load, making routine inspections an essential part of caravan ownership.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that a caravan service is simply repacking the wheel bearings. A comprehensive service involves far more than that. Brakes, suspension, wheel bearings, couplings, fasteners, chassis, seals, plumbing, electrical systems and many other safety-critical components should all be inspected to ensure they’re functioning as intended.

At Wildtrail, every owner receives access to a comprehensive service schedule and checklist through our Client Portal, outlining what should be inspected and the recommended service intervals. It’s also important to remember that servicing isn’t based solely on time—it also depends on how many kilometres your caravan has travelled and the conditions it has been used in.

While some owners choose to carry out maintenance themselves, it’s important that any servicing is completed correctly and in accordance with the recommended service requirements. Caravan servicing involves much more than simply greasing bearings, and overlooking critical inspection points can affect both safety and reliability.

Regular servicing is one of the best ways to protect your investment and help ensure many years of safe and enjoyable adventures.
