Our Own Cars is happy to announce the launch of our website: http://ourowncars.com.au/reviews

There are couple of reasons why we decided to launch Our Own Cars:

1) There's a lack of comprehensive owner written car reviews in Australia. In https://ourowncars.com.au/reviews, we want to focus more on the ownership experience of a car over long period of time.

2) Most automotive sites focus more on new car reviews. But with used car price being in all time high, comprehensive used car reviews are also needed by buyers, especially those provided by owners. https://ourowncars.com.au/reviews together with https://www.facebook.com/groups/carreviewsaustralia provide exactly this space.

3) It's amazing to see how much reviewers miss from driving a car in short amount of time. In order to know a car inside and out, its issues, etc, it's really prudent that the reviewer ideally drives the car in long period of time, weeks if not months.

4) Only after driving cars in longer period, only then can a complete picture of the car be made. Potential buyers will benefit highly from longer duration reviews. The first review we have for example, is a review over 6 months period.

In this page you will find long term reviews and car ownership experience. Our Own Cars is a car review website with a strong focus on long term ownership reviews from owners.
