🏁 MARYBOROUGH SPEEDWAY – WE NEED A NEW CLUB SECRETARY! 🏁

📣 We're looking for someone to join our team!

Maryborough Speedway is on the lookout for a new Club Secretary to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes!

Our current Secretary will be stepping back from the day-to-day responsibilities of the role due to increasing work commitments. However, she isn't disappearing completely! She will remain involved throughout the 2026/2027 season, assisting at race meetings and helping with a smooth transition for the incoming Secretary.

💻 WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

- Managing club correspondence and emails
- Assisting with general club administration
- Preparing meeting agendas and minutes
- Maintaining club records and documentation
- Working alongside the committee to keep the club running smoothly

🏁 YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A SPEEDWAY EXPERT!

We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable, has good communication skills and is willing to be part of a dedicated team.

You'll have the support of the current Secretary to help you learn the ropes, so you won't be thrown in the deep end!

Good news for everyone heading to Maryborough Speedway for practice tomorrow night! 🏎️💨

Our canteen will be OPEN, so there's no need to worry about packing dinner! 🙌

We'll be serving up:

🥓 Bacon & Egg Sandwiches
🍟 Hot Chips
🥤 Cold Drinks

💰 PRACTICE FEE – $100 PER CAR 💰

All drivers are reminded that the $100 practice fee per car is to be paid at the canteen on arrival. 🏁

🍔 🍟 SATURDAY NIGHT – RACE NIGHT! 🍟 🍔

While we'll have a smaller menu available for Friday night's practice, our FULL CANTEEN will be up and running for Saturday night's racing, with plenty more food options available to keep everyone fed throughout the night! 🌭 🥤
