We are planing on sending some Campers or flat packs to BC Vancouver in Fall .
If you have interest , please get in touch with us .We want to send a Container full to save costs for the Customers .
Also the fully built Camper Boxes will have room for spare parts , so they could be going with the camper

Tropical Radiator Grill for the square cab Unimog .
We have tested the tropical Radiator Grill and found that the Engine bay and cab stay cooler , also the extra space is giving plenty of room for additional intercooler , oil cooler Air conditioner condenser .
Now before going in to full production we would like to see if there is interest in the tropical radiator and maybe even a new bonnet to suit it . ( the old bonnet can be modified to suit )
The radiator grill will be white or light grey all fibreglass construction , and can be painted to suit your trucks colour . Radiator Mesh can be supplied , or get your own . Bare shell of the radiator grill will start at $750.- inclusive GST , ex factory .
We however can give you the complete set for you , but there are many variables like mesh , fixings to truck and so on . We are working of making a complete Kit if the interest is enough to start a small production .

Having built the camper on a rolling assembly table and fitted the custom subframe to the truck, it was time to bring it all together. The box is incredibly rigid, even without the subframe, so lifting it with straps was no problem. We then settled it onto the subframe and glued and bolted it in place.
It’s ready to be fetched by my client who will complete the internal fit out, windows, etc.

A batwing that is Mog tough and isn’t going to be scraped off by the first tree.
My client tried to buy a RHS fitting batwing that would be mounted on the rear of the camper. The problem being that the hinges need to stick past the edge for the poles to fold all the way around. The further problem was finding a batwing that fitted the back wall of the camper.
FGS decided to build a Mog tough batwing that mounts to the rear wall of the camper without sticking out either end, folds around the corner and provides plenty of shade. It also had to be tough enough to withstand a reasonable amount of wind plus can take tie down lines and poles.
Velcro all around the top edge means side panels can be easily fitted and moved to block the setting sun or a breeze. An edge flap limits the amount of water that can get behind the opened section where it meets the wall.
The design has functioned as planned. These can be made to suit the width of your rear camper wall.

Hard Top Expedition Camper For ADF Unimog U1700 :

FGS Campervan box build is now complete – This box was custom built to our customers requirements using our standard moulds and Custom Door. The external dimensions are 4.3m x 2.5m x 2.1m high . All walls are double skinned with insulation at 40mm thick. Skins are 2.5mm and Mog tough. Everything is Mog tough.

Door has low external handle and higher internal one. Mogs are high so a handle halfway up the door on the outside isn’t very useful. Maximum attention paid to reducing thermal transfer.

The door and hatches are moulded and use the same the cut out section so are equally insulated. All frames are moulded fibreglass ensuring strength and reduced thermal transfer.

The large rear hatch can be used to house a spare tyre, be a toy shed or incorporate a large slide out kitchen.


The skins are multilayered and include opposing woven layers for added strength. The insulation is recycled PET. Right there you have a green Mog.
Our client is doing their own internal fitout, wiring, plumbing, ect. We have incorporated ducting into the core and reinforced sections for the bed lift and other attachments.

Little play with panel 43mm thick 280mm wide supported at 2m apart 250kg weights placed in the center.

All FGS panels are made inhouse. There is a reason we don't buy in off-the-shelf panels, it's because we build very tough, off-road capable bodies and we put curves in the walls to reduce tipping into trees and cliff faces. The key is that both skins are of equal strength so that when you do lean up against that tree or rock or on your side the panels are less likely to buckle and splinter. The core is equally important and we use very high quality cores. Take a look at the picture and now imagine your 10 ton Unimog camper leant up against a tree. That's why we do what we do.
