We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional qualified light automotive mechanic to join our team. A main requirement for people who fit our culture must have a positive "CAN DO" attitude and be self-motivated.

The position entails general automotive mechanic duties such as servicing and repairing all makes and models of light vehicles, diagnostics, vehicle inspections, safety certificates and repairs

We are looking for the following skills/experience:
- Experienced qualified mechanic
- Strong diagnostic skills & problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and as a team member
- Strong experience in carrying out maintenance & servicing on all
makes/models of vehicles
- Have a high attention to detail & precision in carrying out all work
and repairs
- Hold an Approved examiner certification and/or Approved
persons certification is ideal but not essential
- A Current & Valid Manual Driver's License (open drivers license
preferred)
- Good customer service skills
- Must have all appropriate tools to carry out all tasks and
renew/replace when required
- Performance back ground ideal but not required
- Welding and fabrication skills ideal but not required
- Good attitude over experience!

You will also be:
- Punctual and well spoken
- Have excellent time management skills
- Compliant with WH&S rules, regulations & procedures.
- Well organised, confident, reliable, friendly & have pride in your
appearance.
- Paid above award wages (relevant to experience)

We always get asked about carbon build up especially in diesel applications, so we thought we would share some photos of how they can look

This week we have got Angus’ Hilux sorted ultrasonic cleaning all the carbon build up out of his engine properly, no dogey spray cans that send all that gunk through the engine and turbo, removing the manifold and ultrasonic cleaning is the proper and only way we do it here at Cream Automotive
