A Coral Sea expedition to Wreck and Kenn Reefs on my client’s Fleming 55 and towing his fishing tender! This was my third visit to this area, located nearly 400 nautical miles offshore, crossing depths of 4,000 metres and well outside helicopter rescue range, it’s an adventure not to be taken lightly! But we got the weather, we got the fish and we even got the tender home! YouTube video to come!

Excited to be skippering Tsukiji in next week's 60th Anniversary Tournament! This tag and release tournament is held every 10 years to celebrate the first 1000lbs Black Marlin caught in 1966 - a fish that put Cairns on the world map as the greatest giant Black Marlin fishery in the world! But to many of us it's more than just the fish and the reef, it's the people and the life long friendships that are made through our shared love and experiences of this incredible place! Here's a selection of photos celebrating our family's 50+ years on the reef - hope you enjoy them, good luck to the teams competing and looking forward to seeing everyone! Cheers
