Once again, please remember, we DO NOT dismantle cars for parts, or sell parts to the general public.

They are scam accounts, and have been reported. Please be vigilant.

It sure has been a long year (or two) for everyone, and crazy to think that Christmas is less than 6 weeks away. We are now back to operating Monday to Saturday to help as many clients as possible.

As everyone plans their holiday breaks, please take this as a reminder to ensure your car maintenance is up to date. If your car is overdue, give us a call to book in before you hit the highway for an adventure, to ensure both a safe and stress free journey. Unfortunately some vehicles have been neglected throughout Melbourne’s lockdowns, which is both costly and unsafe for the occupants.

For your safety and that of our staff, we are continuing with our 5 point covid kit in vehicles, sanitising at the beginning and end, along with masks being worn inside cars.

I’m sure everyone is looking forward to a holiday break, so let’s do it safely.

Throughout Stage 4 restrictions in Metro Melbourne, the VACC have recognised the importance of vehicle servicing to maintain safe vehicles on Victorian roads and have been in continuous discussions with the Victorian Government.

The Victorian Government have now eased the Stage 4 restrictions pertaining to logbook and scheduled servicing, to put the safety of motorists first, the new servicing announcement reflects the government’s commitment to maintaining motorist safety and recognises the essential role that the automotive industry plays in the community and the economy.

Any vehicle, be it for a permitted industry or member of the public, can now have a routine service or scheduled service performed.

Due to inconsistent updates/explanations over the last couple of days around the Motor Vehicle Repair industry, we have today sourced direct clarification from the Victorian Government regarding Stage 4 restrictions.

We regret to inform you that to abide by Stage 4 restrictions in Melbourne, we will be closing our doors at the end of business today and operating strictly by appointment only, to complete critical and essential repairs, no general servicing.

Please call our office on 9509 9355 to book an appointment, if you are in need of assistance with your vehicle.

Yesterday Premier Daniel Andrews announced further stage 4 restrictions for Metropolitan Melbourne that are aimed at industries where onsite operations will have to close for the next six weeks as of 11:59pm Wednesday, 5 August.
We received confirmation from VACC this morning for our industry, and are pleased to advise that we are permitted to remain OPEN to continue supporting our customers with their vehicle needs.

“Automotive, machinery and equipment repair and maintenance are permitted to operate where required to maintain the health and safety of Victorians at home or at work. (this includes mechanical, electrical, and collision repair work).”

The safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers has been a priority for us since the beginning of this pandemic, with masks, seat/steering wheel/gear stick covers and gloves being used, along with sanitisation of all touch points in vehicles.

We will be increasing our COVID Safe Plan as per the governments directives, to further focus on safety, prevention, and response in the event a coronavirus outbreak is linked to our premises.
