Getting busy on the new dyno setup!

Massive thanks to Phil and Brent for helping me get this one together. It was definitely a job that needed three practical automotive minds, plenty of measuring, problem solving and attention to detail. Having the extra input made the whole process quicker and far less stressful.

Really impressed with how well designed and thought out the Dyno Innovations setup is. Glenn has also been an absolute legend throughout the whole process.

Looking forward to putting the new setup to work!

This Pajero was absolutely mint, so we had to share it! It already had a nice tune done elsewhere, but we think things may have been a little rushed and the customer wanted more.

So to give him some peace of mind, we did some dyno logs and touched it up a little. The customer reported back how much better it was so win win 😎.

For all you geeks, the gains are:

Power: 165.6 → 193.6 hp = +28.0 hp (+16.9%)

Torque: 490.3 → 573.8 Nm = +83.5 Nm (+17.0%)

So roughly 17% more power and torque over the previous tune.

Toyota multi-mapping 4 driving modes.

Our custom multi-map ECU tune lets the driver switch between:

🔹 Stock
🔹 Tow
🔹 High Power
🔹 Eco

The high-power map delivered wide open peak gains of +34.9 HP and +126 Nm, while the tow and eco maps are calibrated for their specific driving purpose.

Different maps. Different uses. One properly calibrated engine.

It may not be wide open throttle power you need at times. So each tune is addressed to ensure it drives right in each mode in all areas.
