The Proformance Motorsport 4x4 buggy in for a few updates.
-New GE Race Tune LS specific firmware to existing M130 ECU.
- Upgraded to DBW with NW 103 mm DBW throttle
- I wasnt 100% happy with my old MAP based tune so we've converted to completely TPS x RPM mapping on fuel and ign maps.
-Added a high idle mode -2000 rpm idle speed for race conditions. Idles at 1000 rpm in the pits.
Added more CAN messaging to dash to alert driver of various drive modes.
- Spent a lot of time setting up idle control to create an anti stall condition. Tall 1st gear with a clutch and holinger along with tall tyres and 4x4 means its very easy to stall. Now no throttle pedal input is required for driving around the pits etc. Just modulate the clutch and your away.. not something we normally need to deal with as most of these cars run a torque convertor.

Camshafts, with often over 20 grinds to choose from, along with everything you need to DIY we have it. Every cam sold, whether on its own or in a kit gets you $100 off the price of a tune. This includes packages done in house.

We know what works in your combo, having installed 100's, and tuned 1000's we have a pretty good idea what your going to want in your next combo. No stages here, just different cams for different applications...

Our Cam pro plus cam measuring tool also allows us to measure lobes against one another so we find a cam that may work better than others in one particular area we know exactly why. Benefits of using Cam pro plus include:
-Verification the lobes match the supplied cam sheet.
-Accurate and complete lobe profile data— Measures the entire lobe shape (not just a few points like duration @ 0.050" and max lift). Reveals subtle differences in ramp rates, velocity, acceleration, jerk, and overall profile that basic checks miss.
-Compare different cams meaningfully — Lets you overlay and compare full profiles from different manufacturers, custom grinds, or old/new cams side-by-side. Manufacturer advertised numbers (duration, lift) often don't tell the complete story.
-Analyze unknown or unmarked cams — If identification marks have been ground off (common on used/custom cams), you can still fully characterize the cam without knowing the part number. We are offering this service for fee if you would like an existing camshaft checked.

Our first MK2 TVS 2650 out the door this week.
This year marks 20 years of using Harrop products, and 12 years through Tune Corp.

This kit like usual didnt disappoint.
Tuned to 640+ hp at the hubs, this is around the minimum power youll expect from a 2650 utilising the stock drive system and 85mm upper pulley ( bigger pulley hits the bonnet, and smaller results in belt slip requiring a drive system upgrade).
We used a blower and stock torque convertor friendly Crow 871744 camshaft with this install to ensure the blower worked as it should.

Before runs where with tune/ exhaust/ otr so solid 260hp / 180 ft/lb gains over stock here.

This is one ive been trying to get round to for a while.
Ive known Jon Grove for near on 20 years id say from way back when i used to go up to the Uni and give the students a hand tuning motec on their SAE race car. Jon has literally been around the world since, working with THE best teams in V8 supercars and Nascar during his time with KRE/T8 and Joe Gibbs among others.
Fast forward to today, and Jon has found his way back to his home town and brings Jon Grove Engines . We are proud to call him a mate and are lucky to have him.

One of the projects he has assisted greatly with this year was Josh's GTO. Helping bring the 440 C5-R upto current standards we rewired most of the car with a MoTeC m150, PDM and C127 with the help of Low Voltage Industries .
The addition of DBW , some fancy new rocker covers and new Coolant/ overflow tanks were all drawn up by Jon helping bring my ideas to reality.

As we wrap up the year, this thought comes to mind:
Customers like Jamie—who owns this stunning S15—are the reason we exist. Yes, the day-to-day tuning work keeps the doors open, but without the passion that cars like Jamie’s S15 bring, it would just be another job. And to be honest, there are easier jobs out there that probably pay better too.
We have a few customers like Jamie:
Typically running a pretty big show, always have a lot on the line, and are in need of an outlet.
Sometimes, when things don’t go right—when something that should be fun stops being fun—you occasionally see a side of people you’d rather not see.
Not Jamie though. For example, on Thursday night, just one run into the session, he lost a fuel pump. Unfortunately, with this setup, that meant he was done for the night. With only 20 hours on the drivetrain, a basic failure like that is not acceptable—but Jamie kept his cool. We immediately jumped into discussion about ways to improve the system.
This was a new fuel system we’d installed in the car. It’s now proven unreliable, so we’re going back to simplicity and proven reliability for the time being while we consider switching to a large single PWM-controlled pump instead of the current twin PWM setup.
The challenge is that future-proofing for 1300 hp on E85 is no easy task.

This year saw us loose a great asset, Michael ( moth man) has gone onto bigger and better things. We wish him all the best in his and his familys future, those that want to find him he's

True pnp options now for VT2 (LS1) right through the VF2 including LSA GTS and Clubsport (E67 variant not pictured)
Some things to note.
- All flex fuel compatible, to allow proper flex fuel tuning in big power applications.
- Plenty of spare inputs to allow for extra non factory sensors ( for things like fuel pressure and boost valves etc)
- Full time closed loop fuel control at all desired mixture ratios. Not just Stoich.
- All DBW compatible so no more need for
Throttle conversion harness's or crank trigger adaptor looms for that matter.
-Compatible with all other motec devices, easily add a dash display,keypad, or e888 for further expansion and EGTs
-VE /VF kits fully compatible with all other vehicle devices ( talks to the factory dash, T43 trans controller, EBCM, FPCM, etc )
-All come with level 2 data logging. - using motec I2's free software to log upto 200 channels. (Level 3 / 1000 channels available)
