4 link kits.
Plenty of variations out there offered by some stella businesses. Businesses that have put in hours upon hours of design time.
Spent money developing their own design.
Worked hard to put products out there for people.

Buying a product directly from a business (specifically ours 4 months ago), then changing some aesthetic laser cut outs only whilst keeping the entire design including the original ‘key together’ function and calling it your own, is cheating. Doesn’t give you any credit or respect…just shows everyone you have a lack of skill and knowledge.

It’s not always about conversions round here.
This 1600 x 1800 x 850 canopy was finished up by the boys on Monday.

David came to us with his ideas and as usual, Chris worked his magic designing drawing and putting everything in it’s place.

This canopy features a quarter dog box section, adequately ventilated to keep man’s best friend safe. This section also features washout holes for when the 4 legged bestie brings home all the mud.

Around the back of the dog box are mounts for the fridge slide, leaving plenty of extra space for everything but the kitchen sink.
RTT rails and spare wheel mount finish off the design on this one.

Another 79 series 300mm chassis extension completed by the boys this morning. When doing this extension inhouse, we include a heavy duty extended tail shaft, extended fuel lines, extended handbrake cable and brand new extended brake lines as well as qld mod plating (for qld registered vehicles only). Our 79 300mm chassis extension kit is also available for purchase, and includes a qld design approval certificate and engineers summary letter.

We’ve done the annual pilgrimage up to Bowen for the Don River Dash.

We wish the JUST PRESS Racing team and McDonnell Motorsport team all the best for this years race. Both teams are solid competitors, in our CAM Fabrications built Can Ams.
We have no doubt we’ll see them place well.

It’s finally Friday and what better way to end an extremely busy week, than with a new kit release! The 60 series Single Cab Rear Wall Kit. 7 years it’s taken us to finally get this one out there….for no other reason than the 60 series are a rare breed round this neck of the woods. This kit features the all new key in interlocking panels, simplifying the entire process.

Huge, huge shout out to Cohen for allowing us to play with the vehicle over the last few months. Your enthusiasm was contagious and made the design phase a real pleasure!

🎉 NEW RELEASE 🎉 60 series Dual Cab Rear Wall Kit
We’ve done something a little different and made the rear panels and bracing in this kit key into one another and also centre line markers to make this one, the simplest install to date.

We had a very interesting conversation with a bloke other night that has prompted us to write a little post about our chassis extension kits.

We include all necessary components to complete the fabrication side of the extension for GU/GQ patrols, 80/100/105 series LandCruisers as we’ll as 79 series Land Cruisers.
Lengths consist of 300 450 and 600mm depending on the vehicle.

Qld design approval certificate and Engineers summary letter is also included.

What we DON’T include:
Extended brake lines
Extended tail shaft
Extended hand brake cable
Extended fuel lines
WHY? Because most of the above require existing parts, freight becomes difficult and costly and quite often driveline and brake system variables come into play.

We don’t offer certain parts from the kits as separate items, as this then voids the design approval certificate for our extension kits. A kit, is a kit..nothing more nothing less.
In your quote, you receive an itemised parts list telling you EXACTLY what parts you are getting.

A chassis extension is a major modification on a vehicle and not a mod to be carried out by just anyone.
CAM Fab recommends this type of work be carried out by an experienced and qualified person under the direction of their engineer..also explained in our disclaimer attached to your quote.

2 weeks ago we showed you a big insight into the tube work we do on our conversions. That radius edge we are well known for.
The tube work is now completed.

I don’t think you could get any closer to absolute perfection.
These pics show just how accurate we get things and again highlight how much paint and panel shops love our conversions due to lack of excessive pre paint prep work required.

Also I’ve thrown in a pic of the upgraded extended heavy duty tail shaft we fit with our inhouse chassis extensions vs a standard tail shaft.

Quality over quantity.
