We are on the hunt for a trade qualified light vehicle mechanic (also open to a 3rd or 4th year apprentice) to join our team. We are an independent, locally owned, and operated business who have been looking after the Mackay region for almost 15 years, with an abundance of long-term customers. We are in a clean and up to date workshop in the heart of Mackay servicing a wide variety of vehicles, both fleet and privately owned. Our services include but are not limited to general and logbook servicing, minor and major repairs, inspections, and diagnostics – Just to name a few.
About the roll:
• General & Logbook servicing
• Test driving, thorough inspections & diagnostics.
• A large range of repairs such as clutches, suspension, brakes, steering, and so much more.
What we need from you:
• Must obtain or be working towards a Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (3rd year apprentice minimum)
• Must hold a current manual driver’s licence
• Developed diagnostic skills
• Possess a good knowledge of both petrol and diesel engines
• Have general computer skills
• Have great communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Must be able to work independently and alongside others.
