🔧 Not every repair is straightforward!

This Holden Barina came into RSSR Automotive with a coolant leak. Once we removed the hose, we discovered the coolant pipe sleeve had completely rusted away.

With the replacement part no longer available in Australia, we tracked one down from overseas. We then carefully die-ground the old sleeve out, pressed the new one into place, and reassembled everything.

Given the condition of the cooling system, we also carried out a complete cooling system flush before refilling it with fresh coolant.

✅ New coolant pipe sleeve installed
✅ Cooling system flushed
✅ Fresh coolant
✅ Leak repaired and back on the road

This Holden HZ stopped by RSSR Automotive for a modification certificate inspection after receiving a serious upgrade.

🔥 Fresh new look for this Pajero Sport!

💪 Another one back on the road!

This Jeep came into the workshop with some serious rock damage to the front radius arm mounts. The mounts had been repaired previously, but unfortunately the old welds had cracked again.

We fabricated a brand-new radius arm mount, welded it directly to the differential housing, and got everything reassembled and ready to hit the tracks again.

While it was in the workshop, we also completed:

This RAV4 came in for a stealth lighting upgrade with a Stedi light bar neatly mounted behind the grille.

To finish the job off, we also adjusted the headlights, which were well out of alignment. Properly aimed headlights make a huge difference to night time visibility while helping prevent glare for other road users.

A clean, practical upgrade that maintains the factory appearance while greatly improving visibility on the road.

This Toyota 80 Series came in for a mod plate inspection and certification after receiving an XR6 seat conversion and an aftermarket turbo kit to wake up the trusty 1HZ.

The XR6 seats provide a big improvement in comfort, while the turbo setup gives the old diesel some much needed extra power and drivability.

Another vehicle ready to hit the road.

Customer brought their car in sounding more like a truck than a car! 😅🔧

After a quick inspection, we found the exhaust had completely snapped off. We removed the damaged section and replaced the failed flex pipe with a new stainless steel unit.

With everything welded up and back together, it’s now nice and quiet again and sounding exactly as it should. 👌

Another happy customer back on the road.

Falcon M78 diff in for a rebuild after it started making some unhappy noises. 🔧

Inspection found excessive movement in the pinion shaft — enough that it could be moved by hand. With the diff apart, the owner has decided to change the gear ratio as well, so it’s getting a full rebuild and regear while we’re in there.

A sneaky little mini spool was also found hiding inside when it was stripped down. 😅

New bearings, fresh gears with the desired ratio, and a proper setup will have this one back on the road and ready for plenty more kilometres. 💪
