🏁 We’ll be Closed This Thursday & Friday! 🏁

The workshop will be closed this Thursday and Friday while we head up to the Townsville round of the V8 Supercars.

Don’t worry though—you can still shop all your favourite parts and merch through our online store, which is open 24/7.

We’ll be back in the workshop after the weekend, ready to get back into it!

Another Victorian traveller stopping in on their way to the Cape to try and solve some ongoing issues with their TD42

The main objective was reducing excessive smoke and chasing reliability over power.

Straight up we could see an issue in that the turbo was losing 10psi of boost from 2000 to 3000rpm. We swapped out the wastegate actuator which allowed us to keep within 2psi of target boost well past 3000rpm.

We then went about tuning out the smoke which lost some power but got the AFRs back in a safe range.
