Investing in the future of our industry!

Our second year apprentice Simon is back in training with Motor Trades Association of Queensland - MTAQ, continuing to build his skills, knowledge and confidence as he progresses through his automotive career.

We believe an apprenticeship is about more than learning on the tools. It’s about giving our technicians access to quality training, experienced mentors and every opportunity to keep developing their profession.

We’re proud to support Simon as he works towards becoming a fully qualified technician - and even prouder to see the progress he’s making along the way.

Two laps. One V8 Supercar. And a whole lot of pure, unadulterated adrenalin!!

Today I had the incredible opportunity to jump into the Blanchard Racing Team #7 V8 Supercar for two seriously unforgettable laps around Queensland Raceway.

And WOW!

The noise. The speed. The braking. The G-forces. The sheer power of that car.

There’s watching motorsport… and then there’s experiencing what one of these machines can actually do from inside the car. I’m still buzzing!

A massive thank you to CoolDrive Auto Parts and Blanchard Racing Team for giving me this opportunity - what an experience and one I definitely won’t be forgetting anytime soon. Thanks also to Kate for her hospitality - proud to be a fellow Auto Women!

Safe to say, getting back into my normal car afterwards felt a little… underwhelming. 😂
