🏕️ SOMETIMES THE BEST ADVENTURES ARE THE ONES YOU NEVER PLANNED… 🇦🇺

A big shout-out to Steve & Heather Holmes, who are out there doing what Kakadu Caravans are built for — travelling Australia, chasing adventures and making memories.

Stephen and Heather headed to Broken Hill for the Mundi Mundi Bash, but Mother Nature had other ideas. 🌧️

With the rain and flooding throwing their original plans into chaos, they had to change course at the last minute.

And you know what?

It turned into an amazing weekend.

Their Kakadu became their home base, plans became spontaneous, and instead of the weekend they expected, they found themselves exploring around Broken Hill and Silverton, seeing live bands, catching up with friends and discovering places and experiences they may never have found otherwise.

And maybe that’s what caravanning is really about.

It’s not always about where you planned to go.

Sometimes a closed road, bad weather or a last-minute change sends you somewhere completely unexpected — and that becomes the adventure you remember most.

That’s the freedom of having your home behind you.

Change the plan. Take another road. Stay another night. See what’s around the next corner.

Adelaide City Caravans and Kakadu Caravans are now operating from our new home at 22 Christie Road Lonsdale SA 5160.
We are no longer located in Ferry Ave, Melrose park.
If you are in the area, drop in and say hello, have a look around our new showroom and workshop, and check out our range of new and used caravans.
While your down this way take the opportunity to enjoy one of Adelaide's most beautiful coastal walks along the Coast Park Trail. Its only minutes from us and offers absolutely stunning ocean views - well worth the visit.

It’s all happening! 🎉

We are now officially located at 22 Christie Road, Lonsdale.

Over the next week we’ll be completing our final transition from our Melrose Park premises to our new home in Lonsdale. With caravans, parts and equipment being moved between both locations, things may be a little hectic while we get everything settled.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during the move. If you’re planning to visit us over the next week, please give us a quick call first to make sure we’re in the right place to assist you.

🚐 We’re one step closer!

Our move into our new Kakadu Caravans premises is getting very close. The concreting has now been completed, the epoxy floors throughout the warehouse are finished, and we’re just waiting for everything to cure.

If all goes to plan, we’ll start the move next week and be fully settled into our new home by the end of the month. We can’t wait to welcome everyone through the doors!

A huge shout-out to Elite Concrete Solutions SA. Luke and his team did an absolutely outstanding job from start to finish. The quality of their work, professionalism, and attention to detail were second to none. If you’re looking for concreting done right, we can highly recommend them.

Thanks to everyone who’s supported us during this exciting journey. The next chapter for Kakadu Caravans is almost here! 👏
