Rockmount is a thoroughbred pretraining facility of approximately 200 acres nestled in the Strathbogie Ranges at Longwood, 90 minutes north east of Melbourne along the Hume Highway. The name Rockmount originates from the highly visible and stunning granite structures that rise from the western slopes of the property. nery Victoria and since then Rockmount has gained the reputation of being a professional operation which trainers and owners prefer for spelling, waterwalker therapy and pretraining of their valuable racehorses. Owners, trainers and visitors are most welcome to visit the property by appointment.
