Another first car, getting a little Wasp Racing treatment. Motor was toast, so a good second hand motor being sorted out, timing belt, water pump, assorted seals and gaskets changed while it's on the stand. Some fresh colour layed out in the engine bay.

Please share so we can get George paid seeing as Jamie Smith has walked away and left us with the bill for this engine.

It is the third built to the same spec as the last 2, fantastic motor with plenty of pull. Put in any well setup falcon and it will be hard to beat

Unfortunately our faithful old ecojet engine has had enough for the weekend. Sorry George Everingham and Ari Leonard, I'll join the queue 😊

But on a positive note, what a fantastic event and fantastic people. Grant Fowler Harry Fowler Harry Fowler Motorsport Lachlan Wyeth LRW Motorsport for a bunch of guys from different backgrounds, different skill levels and driving styles who had never even sat in the car, we moved up from nearly last on the grid ( nearly 40 cars) to a solid 12th outright and 4th in class. The last hour as all our faithful horses ran away to neighbouring paddocks, we dropped to 15th and 6th in class, when we finally retired. We are smiles all round even if only slightly disappointed. The car was fantastic all day.

BIG Weekend for Wasp Racing.

Our 20hr enduro for Rare Cancers Australia, with Motor Events Racing @ Morgan Park Raceway is here.

After a shake down last weekend, we found a few little niggles, and are feeling confident, or at least hopeful 🤷 that we have a good reliable run.

Shout out, Thanks to Paul Pirlo, @ Plateau Tyres, for doing a wheel alignment for us and fixing a slow leak in another tyre.

Also Pete Total Trimming Lismore for the retrim on the seat and a few other little trim tidy up pieces, to help make the car nicer and more comfortable.

A bunch of new drivers for the bullet this weekend, with dirt track, time attack and ,well, plenty of watching experience.
Harry Fowler Motorsport Harry and Grant Fowler both tackling driving duties, and Lachlan Wyeth also jumping in.

Toby is jumping in as crew chief for us along with Brody, as spanner spinner, and refreshment expert. Craig has a date with his daughter for her graduation and we wish Daisy Smith all the very best for whatever life brings next.
