Why put lithium dual battery systems in the back of your cab and not in your engine bay? 🤔 After all, batteries take up precious space in the back where you could instead fit storage trays, appliances, or portable panels.
The main reason is safety. Your 4WD engine bay gets really hot, so chucking in a lithium battery is basically a terrible idea (kaboom đź’Ą at worst, de-rating at best). Adding to that, keeping your lithium in the back, close to your fridge and other appliances, helps minimise cable and wiring runs and sizing.
