Hi Everyone, 👋
We are back on the road after a coulpe of weeks in the workshop.

A huge Thankyou to Baker's Air Conditioning, Mechanical & Auto Electrical Repairs & Servicing.

In the last two weeks these guys went above and beyond to get Hinosaurus back on the road as fast as they could and we cannot thank you enough.

Unfortunately Hinosaurus mechanically had been neglected for some time and it took alot longer to get back on the road than expected.

And a big thankyou to those who were willing to wait for us to move their vehicles.

Nothing like a late Saturday night challenge.

That is a tandem trailer buried in amongst the bush that we had to winch 30+ metres in and around trees and down a coulpe of steep banks onto the truck.

We are glad we could recover this trailer and get it back to it's owner.

These machines are not something you would normally see on a tow truck everyday however if we can fit it on our tray we will move it for you.

Thanks to Chris for trusting us to move these machines.

There has been confusion locally with very similar towing business names appearing around the time of this sale. This post confirms the official handover of Advanced Towing / Devonport Towing, supported by John Page, Ben Page and the Page family.

𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 / 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗻𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗺 - 𝟬𝟰𝟭𝟴 𝟭𝟰𝟬 𝟴𝟴𝟭

A message from John Page, Ben Page and the Page family.

After almost 40 years connected with the Page family, Advanced Towing / Devonport Towing is officially moving into new hands.

John Page bought his first tow truck around 1989, and from there built a towing business known right across Devonport and Northern Tasmania.

At one stage, John had six tow trucks running, built on hard work, long nights, accident calls, police work, roadside assistance and helping people when they needed it most.

This was always a true 24/7 local towing business. John built his reputation on reliable, quality service by answering the phone and turning up, no matter what time it was. He was known for never knocking back an after-hours call.

Many locals will also remember John towing on Christmas Day every year in his Santa suit, which says a lot about the character and service the business was built on.

Around four years ago, the business changed hands from John to his son Ben Page, keeping it in the Page family and continuing the Advanced Towing / Devonport Towing history.

Now the business is changing hands again.

We are proud to announce that Steve Dunham has bought the business and is taking over Advanced Towing / Devonport Towing.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽, 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗕𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.
