🎵🌱 Coldplay turned dancing fans into a source of clean energy!
During their Music of the Spheres World Tour, Coldplay installed kinetic dance floors that convert the movement of fans dancing and jumping into electricity. Along with power-generating bikes and solar panels, the system helped generate an average of 17 kWh per show—enough to power the band’s C-stage performance. ⚡🕺
And the environmental effort didn’t stop there: Coldplay reported a 59% reduction in direct CO₂e emissions compared with their 2016–17 stadium tour, while 7 million trees had been planted through One Tree Planted—one for each concertgoer at that stage of the tour. 🌳💚
