Junior development - August 2026
The rain stopped earlier in the week, allowing enough time for the track to dry out in time for our juniors to run.
With 28 entries for the day, and enough helpers to get all the cars going and help out to cover all the officials points, we were off to a smooth day.
Great runs were had by all and the day was finished with a track walk to push back all bollards and tyres ready for Ian to run the grader around before the next event.
Some drivers found the wet spots were a bit slippery and we got to try out the new tow rope.
A few of the kids were keen to try out the Hyundai s coupe that’s been sitting around for a while. It was great to see the team work from the boys to get it running.
Next junior development will be Sunday 27th September.

Autocross RD6 16th of August is CANCELLED due to track conditions.
Sorry ,but the weather had different ideas. Next event will be the September event. Will be sending e mail notifications to those that had already entered. Tony

Autocross RD6 on the 16th of August is open for entries. A entry is not a expression of interest but a conformation of competing on the day. Before entering make sure your car and you are ready to compete. Entry closes 6.00PM Friday 14th of August. No late entries and no entries on the day. If you forget it is a "YOU" problem. As this time of year the weather can decide when we run, so If we have to call it we will and give you notification of such. Tony

For those of you who knew Tom Caldwell we are having a celebration of his life with a wake to be held at the Sunbury Social Club. 47 Riddell Road Sunbury, on the 10th August from 1-4pm. I will look forward to seeing you there.....Shirley. (photographer KCC)

Entries for the next round(5) of Autocross is open. The entries close 6.00 PM Friday 17th July. Please be aware that weather can effect the track and the event can be cancelled at this time of year. If this happens we will give you notice as soon as possible. Also its cold this time of the year can you all try and bring a little bit of firewood for the fires to keep yourselves warm. Tony

It is the sad news that I am have been informed that Tom Caldwell passed this morning. Tom and Shirley have been long time members and contributors to the club. Tom was a longtime corner marshal at the shed and Shirley has taken a lot of photo's on race days that most of you would have one somewhere. From all us at the club we say thank you for all your time and effort and to Shirley and family at this time offer heart felt condolences for your loss.
