**Update on Rhys's Journey to Recovery**

We would like to provide an update on Rhys's condition and his ongoing journey towards recovery. Rhys is now awake and responding after spending several days in an induced coma. While we are thankful for this progress, it is with a heavy heart that we share he has unfortunately lost all movement and sensation on the left side of his body, which is his dominant side.

The path to recovery will be both long and uncertain. Rhys will require extensive rehabilitation, potentially lasting months or even years, and there is no certainty that he will regain any movement or sensation. Additionally, preparations are needed for his eventual return home, including specialized equipment to help him adapt to his new circumstances and to ease daily life for both him and his family.

Moreover, there are concerns about Rhys's ability to return to work for an extended period, as well as fears about the possibility of not regaining his full capacity. This situation adds significant stress to the family’s future financial uncertainty.

We kindly request your continued support to alleviate some of the financial burdens and uncertainties that Rhys and his family are facing. Your generosity will enable them to focus on what truly matters—supporting Rhys through his recovery and helping him regain as much independence as possible.

We are reaching out to our community for help in supporting one of our beloved employees, Rhys, who has recently suffered a devastating stroke and brain bleed on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024. Rhys is not only a dedicated and valued member of our team, but more importantly,A young 37 year old devoted husband and father to five beautiful children.

Rhys has undergone emergency surgery to drain the brain bleed, and while he is currently stable, he remains in a critical state, fighting for recovery in an induced coma. This is an incredibly challenging time for Rhys and his family, as they wait and hope for his recovery.

As Rhys continues his battle, we want to do everything we can to ease any financial burdens or concerns for his family during this difficult journey. The road ahead will be long, and we hope that as a community we can help alleviate some of the stress they are facing by providing financial support to help cover medical expenses, household costs, and any other unforeseen challenges that may arise.

Your generosity can make a profound difference for Rhys and his family as they navigate this uncertain time. Truck Mechanic / Heavy duty

HEAVY DUTY FITTER / TRUCK MECHANIC

(Ongoing Position)

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Heavy-duty diesel mechanic to perform repairs, maintenance and inspections on various Prime Movers, Rigid Trucks, Pilot Vans, Buses & Trailers/Dollies to name a few.

We are a small family owned company and we strive off of our loyal customer base and ongoing commitment for providing great customer service.

To be considered as part of our valuable team, you must be reliable, honest, trustworthy, hardworking and keep a clean workspace and work in a team environment.



Your communication levels must be at a high level of standard and your morals & work ethics must align with our visions.



In order to be successful, you will need:

· Relevant trade Certificate & qualification (Cert III heavy diesel vehicle mechanic) - Australian recognised trade qualification

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Heavy-duty diesel mechanic

· Valid C Class Drivers Licence

· HR Driver’s License (Advantage)

· Own Trade Tools

· Forklift licence (preferred)

· A strong work ethic and ‘can-do’ attitude with flexibility to work across 7 days a week

· Ability to supervise/train/conduct apprenticeship programs

· Some auto electrical knowledge would be beneficial

· Basic welding skills would be beneficial

· Pass Drug, Alcohol, Medical Assessment

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

· Daily Pre-Start Checks

· Daily paperwork

· Scheduled Maintenance - Minor & Major Servicing

· Breakdown & Repair- Minor & Major

· Mechanical, Hydraulic, Diesel, Pneumatic & Electrical - Fault Find/ Diagnostic & Repair



You will be required to work some weekends and available for on call break downs and repairs when needed. Travel could be required for this role (Mainly within WA) for shift coverage, shut downs, services & repairs.



Each day is different so being able to be versatile in your role, productively manage your time daily and adapt to different working environments is absolutely important to succeed in this position.



In return you will receive a competitive hourly rate, a work vehicle set up for you to just add your tools, uniforms and the opportunity to work within a long-term contract alongside experienced and talented operators, in which you can progress your own skill set.
