This Mercedes ML-Class is in for a camshaft replacement.

This car epitomises the importance of getting an engine light or unusual noise checked out early.

It initially came in for a check engine light, on the diagnostic scan it revealed that the correlation between the camshafts was out. Normally this can be caused by a failed timing chain tensioner or stretched timing chain.

If your car has a rattle on cold start and/or an engine light, get it booked in for a diagnosis before your car becomes a can’t
