Motorossi Mechanical Repairs

28/09/2026

This stunning Mercedes-AMG was in at Motorossi Mechanics for a complete logbook service and tune up using genuine products.

With this being an extremely low-mileage vehicle, the owner wanted everything maintained to a high standard and carried out correctly to help keep the vehicle’s warranty requirements on track.

At Motorossi, we understand that some cars deserve that extra level of care. From routine servicing through to diagnostics, repairs and performance work, we take pride in doing the job properly.

🔵 BMW 3 Series — Heater, Rattle & Suspension Sorted! 🔧

This BMW came into Motorossi with a few frustrating issues:

🔥 Heater not working properly
🔊 Annoying rattle while driving
🚗 Knock from the front suspension

After some investigation, we got to the bottom of all three.

✅ We unblocked the heater core, and the heater is now absolutely unbelievable — just like a true BMW heater should be!

✅ After some heavy investigation into the rattle, we found a broken bracket that holds the handbrake cable in place. Bracket replaced, rattle gone!

✅ We also found the front caster arms were worn. After replacement, the steering now feels tighter, sharper and the car feels much more planted on the road.

Another BMW driving the way it should. 👌

Whether it’s a strange noise, heating issue, suspension problem or general servicing, let the team at Motorossi get to the bottom of it.

🚨 BAD FUEL = BIG PROBLEMS! ⛽️💧

This customer’s car arrived at Motorossi on a tow truck after suddenly breaking down.

After speaking with the customer, they explained they had just filled the car up with fuel. Around 100 metres down the road, the vehicle began jolting badly, eventually broke down and would not restart.

Using that information, we drained a fuel sample and immediately found the problem…

👉 The bottle on the LEFT shows extremely poor-quality fuel with a very high water content.

We then drained approximately another 20 litres from the tank before getting fuel that looked much cleaner and closer to what it should be — shown in the bottle on the RIGHT.

After some persistence, we managed to get the vehicle started and it eventually cleared itself out. ✅

⚠️ A reminder to be careful where you fill up! Saving a few cents per litre at a cheaper petrol station may not be worth it if the fuel quality causes damage or leaves you stranded.
